Depending on the duration that you require me for; I can walk, feed, give medication, light grooming, enrichment/games and of course cuddles!

I have always had a genuine love for all animals and feel that I connect well with them, I would treat your pet with the love, care and attention they they deserve, just as if they where my own pet.
I do have my own dog, Phoebe (pictured right). She is a rescue originally from Romania! She was an extremely nervous dog that I have managed to train and bring out of her shell!
I am a down to earth, open and honest person and I’m happy to answer any questions you might have. 🙂
Q. Can we meet before the booking, does it cost?
A. Of course! Sometimes people don't have time to do a meet & greet beforehand but I am more than happy to, free of charge.
Q. What if I have to cancel?
A. It's okay, it happens! If theres less that 24hrs notice I would ask for 50% cancellation fee.
Q. Do we have to leave food for you?
A. Not at all! Depending on the duration I bring my own meals/snacks.
Q. What do you do during the day?
A. Depending on the duration of the booking I would take the dog(s) for a decent walk, letting them take in all the sights and smells. We would play some enrichment games throughout the day to keep them occupied. Nap time and cuddle time is also important so they don't become overtired. During downtime I would either crack on with some coursework, read or watch some TV
Q. How do I book?
A. You can either email me (HappyBeansDogSitting@Gmail.com) or message me on instagram/facebook, I aim to reply within the hour.
Q. How do I pay you?
A. I will request payment after the booking has ended, we will have discussed the method of payment prior as I accept cash, bank transfer or paypal. Details will be given.
Q. My dog is reactive/nervous, is that okay?
A. Meet & greets beforehand are handy for these occasions to judge if my service is suitable or not. My rescue dog is a nervous bean so I have a little experience there.
Q. How can I trust you in my house?
A. I am more than happy to chat with you, meet you beforehand so you can judge my character. I am a very open and honest person, I can provide references if you require. Some clients have home security which is absolutely fine too!

Happy Beans Dog Sitting refers to all team members working as part of our business.
Client refers to the dog-owner who wishes to use Happy Beans Dog Sitting services.
No part of this website can be copied or reproduced, stored or transmitted in any form. If you wish to reproduce elements from this website, permission needs to be sought by contacting HappyBeansDogSitting@gmail.com.
Booking and Cancellation of Services
The client agrees to book a service by email or message to Emma at Happy Beans Dog Sitting. The requested service is not confirmed until Emma at Happy Beans Dog Sitting has replied with notification of this.
If the client needs to cancel a booking due to unforeseen circumstances, this needs to be done as soon as possible via message or email. If the cancellation occurs within 24 hours of the commencement of the service, a 50% cancellation fee will be applied.
If no cancellation notification is made by email or phone and Happy Beans Dog Sitting Service attends to collect your dog but is unable to do so, the price for that day's service will be invoiced in full.
Happy Beans Dog Sitting may require the client's keys to their property to enable access if they are not present. Key release information will be completed as part of the consultation process if this is required.
Happy Beans Dog Sitting will ensure that all keys will be contained in a locked safe when not in use and that a key control book will be used to sign keys in and out of the safe.
Payment for Services
Happy Beans Dog Sitting hereby notifies all regular clients that they will be invoiced at the end of every booking, as per arrangement made, and that payment should be made within 48 hours of receiving their invoice for services provided.
Should late payment occur, Happy Beans Dog Sitting reserves the right to impose a late payment fee of £2.50 and a further £2.50 for everyday thereafter until payment is received in full.
Invoices for services provided will be based on the price list available on the website and are non-negotiable. These charges are subject to change; customers will receive notice of any price changes in good time.
All payments are requested by cash, bank transfer or paypal.
The client, by completing the consultation form, agrees to divulge behavioural information about their dog, including aggression and biting. In taking up the service provided by Happy Beans Dog Sitting, the client agrees that their dog has not shown any sign of dangerous behaviour that could jeopardise the safety of Happy Beans Dog Sitting team members and other dogs, animals and humans whilst in our care.
Should the client's dog show any signs of behavioural issues in the future, the client agrees to notify Happy Beans Dog Sitting.
Canine Health and Safety
By completing the consultation form the client confirms that their dog is in good health and up to date with all vaccinations, has been regularly wormed and has regular treatment to prevent fleas and ticks.
The client agrees to ensure that, as is law, their dog is micro-chipped and wears a well fitted collar with an ID tag showing the client's contact details.
Walking your Dog
Happy Beans Dog Sitting will only allow dogs to exercise and play off the lead if the client has given their permission when completing the consultation form. Otherwise the client's dog will remain on the lead for the duration of their walk.
There may be times when the weather conditions pose a risk to health and safety; for example, heavily iced paths or conditions which make the dogs nervous, such as thunder and lightning. In such circumstances, Happy Beans Dog Sitting reserves the right to cut short the walk, both for the health and safety of the dogs in our care and ourselves.
Delivery of Service
Happy Beans Dog Sitting will always endeavour to arrive at the allotted time. However, in adverse weather or road conditions or due to other unforeseen circumstances we may be slightly delayed. We will do our utmost to inform you of any late arrival. Please allow 30 minutes for us to attend. Your dog will still receive the full service as requested.
On occasion, due to poor weather such as heavy snow or severe flooding, Happy Beans Dog Sitting will not be able to reach dogs booked for services. If this is the case, we will always endeavour to give the client enough notice to make alternative arrangements for their dog.
Happy Beans Dog Sitting agrees to perform the requested services in a caring, attentive and reliable manner when looking after client's dogs.
It is expressly understood that the client retains the services of Happy Beans Dog Sitting as an independent contractor and not as an employee.
We are fully insured by Protectivity Insurance.
Exclusions to the policy: Any dog with a pre-existing physical or medical defect, disability or condition.
This means that should your dog have to visit the vet for a pre- existing condition whilst in our care, the owner is liable for all vets fees.
In completing our consultation form each owner must disclose behavioural and health issues particular to their dog. Failure to do so will mean that the owner is liable for any costs incurred through damage/injuries to other parties or property by their dog.
In the event of an emergency, Happy Beans Dog Sitting will make every effort to contact the client on all emergency contact numbers provided. We reserve the right to make a decision in the best interests of their dog's health and on the advice of a veterinary surgeon if the client is uncontactable.
Termination of Agreement
Happy Beans Dog Sitting and the client can terminate the agreement of services at any time by giving 7 days' notice by email

What information do we collect?
We collect personal contact details from you such as your name, email address and telephone number, as well as details of an alternative emergency contact and your registered vet.
We also collect information about your dog(s) such as name, age, breed, sex, medical history and behavioural traits.
We may need to collect additional information to allow us to gain access to your property, such as key code number.
How do we collect the information and why do we need it?
The personal data we collect about you and your dog is gathered as part of the initial consultation process, which is usually carried out via email for convenience.
We collect your details to ensure we comply with the guidelines from DEFRA - The Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) (England) Regulations 2018.
We need your personal details in order to arrange services and payment with you, and in order to contact you in the event of an emergency while your dog is in our care.
We also take note of your registered vet in case of an emergency.
We collect information about your dog in order to have the necessary knowledge to safely take charge of your dog and other dogs in our care; also to comply with guidance from DEFRA
What do we do with the information?
The personal information gathered from you will be used to ensure that you are contactable in the event of an emergency and that if your dog needs to visit the vets we have the most up to date information on your dog's welfare.
At times we will contact you to inform you of updated/new services or prices and/or offers. You can at any time request not to be contacted. Please email email@example.com to opt out of being contacted.
The information recorded will be used in the event of an audit from the local licensing authority. A list of DEFRA's requirements on records to be kept is available on the DEFRA guidance notes, The Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) (England) Regulations 2018, paragraph 25.0 sub paragraph 25.1.
We will never share your data with any 3rd party.
How do we store this information?
We store personal data for as long as we find it necessary to fulfil the purpose for which the data was collected, while also considering our need to answer your queries or resolve possible problems. This means that we may retain your personal data for a reasonable period of time after your last interaction with us. When the personal data that we have collected is no longer required, we will delete it in a secure manner.
Your information will be stored on an electronic device which is password protected.
Hard copy data will be locked securely in a safe.
Emails and mobile call history will be deleted periodically.
